A big takeaway from presentation is how language is constantly changing and how using or learning about old styles might not be as useful as they were when they were made.

Another takeaway I got from the video is to use Classic Style, which is one person speaking to another as equals. It’s a good style to use because it allows the reader to see and know exactly what the writer is talking about.

The last takeaway I got from the video was to use active voice and  not passive voice. Using the passive voice can make a writing seem flat and uninteresting. Using active voice makes the meaning clear for readers, and keeps the sentences from becoming too complicated or wordy.
